In his most recent years as a BCG partner, he found a passion in blending strategic foresight with hands-on implementation across a diverse portfolio of industries and companies in consumer, retail, fashion, travel, banking and media.
Calling upon his solid foundation in industry and commercial functional expertise (marketing & go-to-market, trading & sales optimisation, customer experience & relationship, digital and omnichannel product & ecosystems, data & analytics, talent & organisation), Raphael decided to create REAL to continue helping clients maximising their top line and bottom line outcomes, building significant differentiators with the world of top-tier consultancies: more flexibility, more ground experience, and a significantly better value.

As the Managing Partner of multiple media agencies, he led global businesses including Just Eat Takeaway, American Express, Levi’s, O2 and the BBC. As a trusted advisor, he helps brands unlock business growth through media and marketing solutions, building integrated brand and performance frameworks, implementing detailed measurement approaches, negotiating complex commercial partnerships and driving structural change to improve media-driven outcomes.
His leadership has shaped campaigns that have won major industry honours, and equally importantly grew the bottom-line and improved brand health.
Simon thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution — working alongside in-house teams to create efficiencies and drive effectiveness.
